  • Happy Birthday Google Sheets!

  • Google lists their recommended third party apps for Google Workspace

  • Shared Drive Membership Issue

    • New known issue: When a user recently added to a group that's a member of a Shared Drive, the user will not be able to see the Shared Drive(s) in the Google Drive UI, nor will admins be able to see the user's Shared Drive membership in their user account details in the Admin Console. Users can, however, access the shared drive by navigating to its URL directly, and will still be able to access files on the shared drive if provided the direct link.

    • Workaround is to remove and re-add the group in question, at which point Shared Drives will immediately be available in the Google Drive UI and visible to admins in the user account details of the Admin Console.

First reported earlier this week, fix expected by Tuesday.

    • Not listed in Customer Care Portal's system status section because a workaround exists.
